31 Days: 7 Quick Takes #2

— 1 —

Christmas is around the corner and I have decided I want to take the less is more approach. I have heard people say that they give a child something they need, something they want, something they read, and something to wear as presents. I am thinking 4 gifts is a great number my only problem is which one of these cute sewing crafts should I make for the boys?

Our town hosts a Trick-or-Treat on Main street night and I am so excited about it. I wrote about it last year. The boys loved it and I know this year they will enjoy it even more because this little pumpkin will be there.

Check out my post on my 5 favorite 31 Days writers. These ladies are amazing and I love reading their blogs late at night while I am snuggling with Baby G. While you are at it look around Jenna’s blog, she is the new host of 5 faves.

I am looking at buying some cute headbands for Baby G and have been looking at these from Mint and Arrows. What do you think? Any recommendations on styles and colors? Any other shops you would recommend?

We went to the pumpkin patch with the kiddos this past weekend and I have yet to write a post or post pics. I really need to get on that so for now here is a quick glimpse of the fun.IMG_2643

I am loving the daily devotions from Blessed Is She. Check it out. Starting my day focusing on God and his plan for my life makes my day a better day.

Hooray for Friday and J getting a day off. This momma is looking forward to getting out of the house and window shopping.
